Seeking the problems faced by the attendants of patients Georgian Hope has decided to solve one of the problems i.e. problem of shelter inside the campus by making the shelter as Raen Basera.
For the proposed site of Raen Basera the permission of University administration has been taken.
The site for Raen Basera is beside the Pulmonary Medicine OPD and the area is 1750 sq.ft.
At first, a temporary shelter in the form of tent will be erected. After proper fund collection a permanent shelter will be made.

Georgian Hope Blood Donation Camp Nov.21,2010
In blood donation camp nov.21,2010 organized by georgian hope at state blood bank, CSMMU, Lucknow total 30 persons have donated their blood for the sake of needy and poor patients.
Among donors people inside and outside the campus were present.

Georgian Hope:Structure & Functioning
Though Georgian Hope is an initiative of students of CSMMU, its structure includes all the UGs&PGs of medical and dental sides, teachers and all the employees of the medical university.
-There is no hierarchy or officiating posts in the organization.
-Everybody has right to put suggestions and discussions on every topic related to patient care inside the campus.
Our functioning includes stratgey :
-meeting
-planning
-execution
Our meeting is held on every friday at the stairs of administrative block, where we discuss about the problems encountered by patients and their attendants and find out solutions.
We plan about how to work out on the solutions.
Then finally we execute the solutions.

aims and objectives of georgian hope
Georgian Hope is an initiative by the group of students of CSM Medical University,Lucknow in the field of patient care, started in May11,2008. Our aims & objectives are:
-organization of blood donation camps at regular intervals.
-on call help of the needy & poor patients admitted in csmmu hospital.
-supply of blood units to the needy patients, those who don't have donors with them.
-we also provide fund for drugs & investigations to the poor patients.
-we have put sign boards for direction to pathology,blood bank, trauma center & opd.
-planning about shelter(rain basera),community mess,drinking water &many other problems faced by patients inside the campus.
-future planning includes health education & medical camps , medicine supply and information centers.
